Meh, it wasn't too bad although >>>
There are still people are cutting off snow plows and driving like it's normal.
And of course they don't clean their cars off either, lets see how my car gets damaged this year.

from long island back into queens..
it sucked. the long island part was much more icey than queens was.....but worse than all of that, is the way people drive in that area....it's as if their *** has been set on fire and the only way to extinguish it is to cut off as many people as humanly possible...
and i agree with you. these ******* don't even clean their cars...they can't even see out the back!
i'm soaking wet though. it's amazing that even at the hospital, NO ONE cleans the sidewalk.....or the employee parking lot. no salt even!
must be a new york thing....

Like it was on tracks....
I finally got home in the Mid Hudson Valley area and freely admit that I had a blast.
There are somewhere around 6 or 7 inches of fresh snow on the ground, traffic wasn't too bad, and my little TT quattro once again proved that it is a very capable snow car. The only other cars on the road today that weren't sliding around and spinning tires were Subarus. Our TTs are like on tracks. Even if you try to upset it by flooring the gas pedal, the traction control quickly gets things settled down and pointed in the right direction.
It's hilarious to watch the monstrous SUVs with 4x4 incapable of getting traction. I was behind a Ford 4x4 product for a bit and every time we accelerated from an intersection, he spent the first 50 feet or so fighting it.
The thing to remember, though, is that when it comes to stopping, we have no advantage anymore.
