Default oh what beautiful eyes you have...

After a week of PURE HELL with these freakin' headlights, the angel eyes and OSIR smoked corners are in. I also painted the housing Moro Blue, and I must say, these housings should have been painted along with the rest of the car to begin with.

I lost the four clips that hold the headlight assembly together, so I had to use some silicone sealant to adhere everything together. That thing is never gonna come apart now. But just in case, I'm going on monday to see if I can get some new clips anyways.

I must've put the bumper or the headlights on wrong or something because the headlights stick out a little bit--

-- anybody have an idea what I might have done wrong? From the front, you can sorta tell the headlights stick out a little...

but I have a show this weekend, so it's going to have to be remedied after sunday.

Default My headlights did the same thing!!!!

I think its because you can't get the lens on quite as tight to the housing as the factory does... I kept pushing the two together but it was still not as together as I wanted... and the clips were tighter to get on as well.

thats my theory anyways!

Default Just adjust them via the screws that hold them onto the car. Took me awhile but >>

got mine to sit flush both times the headlight were out.

Default Nice Jay! Can't wait to see it tomorrow !

Are you showing in the tt calss or in the EP booth.. I will be in the TT class, because if you are ina booth, the car will be judged in the "tuner" class..... Hope to see you there. I'm having a friend drive the car in from Rick's because I'm closer to the show than you guys and then meet up and detail the car before the show. You're gonna love my new ICE :-P

Default I think I spent so much time on cleaning that glue stuff off of everything...

that I'm not even going to dare touch those headlights for a loooooooong while. That stuff got EVERYWHERE. Blame it on my inexperience in opening those things, but DAAAAAMN that was a PITA...

Hey, I also installed andrewTT's old Injen CAI, that's what you have, don't you?
Is it supposed to be THAT loud??
