Higher trap speed could indicate massive wheel spin giving the 96.78mph the win

Cool, 57 at start 67 (in the sun) on best run
About 500' above sea level
The 5 speed manual 2000 Vette was stock
I am a 225 Quatro... or I was 225 ... well a few mods... so 225++ but just 93 Octane!
And my good old (well new) Pilot Sports (stone cold every time... or 60 degree cold)
ESP was off - Air was off (except when I forgot)

The TT just JUMPS off the line I had .631 at the 60 foot marker! (Something about High HP and rear wheels spinning... maybe someone can explain that to us)

I actually GAIN at the 1/8th marker and our TT is ahead by .686 &gt;&gt;&gt; But the Trap says I'm only 74.63 and the Vette is 76.39 MPH... hummmm does this spell doom ??

I'ts now the Final Stretch I'm into 4th But the Black Vette Never leaves 3rd! So Blackie traps at 102.07, I'm at 96.78 mph, but it's MOBlueTT by a lenght!!!!!!!!!

At the wire... a FULL .507 lead &gt;&gt;&gt; 14.187 vs 14.695

When is the Preakness... next weekend ???

We can't win on HP, we can't win on Displacement, but we can WIN... now I just need a few more mods to get into the 13.xxx range!
