OK, this beats another dubious record: I saw a Christmas Tree in Crate&Barrel today!!!

I used to work at Pier 1 Imports, I knew it was time to quit when we did the full holiday/Christmas set up on September 1st.It was a 110 degrees outside at the time,scary and sick. (My Blu's wife, awake at 2:49ish am)

Many department stores already have their full-blown Christmas displays up, as do some home improvement centers (Menard's usually puts up their "tree town" in late September...)

I've been seeing Christmas stuff since late August! It's a disgrace, I tell ya! :-/

I think the rule of thumb now is to put out the Xmas items at the same time as the Halloween items.
