The car seems to be boosting exactly 5psi over stock, i.e when I switch over to stock mode its now only boosting 9-10psi. The only difference is the weather...its gotten colder in Toronto (+10C). Any explanation for this? In the really warm days, the stock boost was held at 14psi, with temperatures dropping so did the boost. Same story as happened in the spring. I thought that APR chip will not be affected, but it seems to be mirroring the stock only at +5 psi.
Oh, and its on a 2001 225

I went into limp mode after I overboosted...found that my MAF was dirty and
cleaned it...boost fell back to where I should be...25psi. I used to hold 23-24psi in my APR 93 oct with a boost machine. i cleaned it with electronics cleaner...sprayed it like it was soaking...used a heat gun on low and dried it, then put it back in. my gas mileage improved as well...i think because since it was dirty...it was running too rich, i guess.
turbo cars love cooler weather. it was in the 60s here and the car is running great with that temperature, plus low humidity.

thats what I thought, cooler weather=better performance. but with boost dropping it just doesn't
make sense.
But 23PSI Held? Wholy crap, the most I ever spiked at was 21-22

what N75 valve do you have? and do you have a boost machine? tighTT said on his dyno
that it didn't make a difference. I felt that it did...but I was pulling higher numbers than you were.

My APR had a problem with the MAF that affected PSI but not like yours
I had a MAF go bad, it would throw me in limp mode, The car would run great for a while then throw a code and my max boost was stuck at 7psi. Replaced the MAF and all was well; however, your PSI and mine are completly different. Mine after my TTDA peaks at 24 and in an overboost run holds around 20~22, sorry no ideas for you. But I agree my seat of the pants feel is that when it's colder the car is much more responsive.

My friends car x-powered225? did the same...
his car seemed to hold 17 with just a chip but now it only holds 14 to 15 psi. Shop told him his wastegate is not holding vacuum at all and that is why he is getting his turbo replaced..

also.. he did install a BM after the fact that he wasn't holding 17 with just a chip..
this is before he knew it was the wastegate not holding vacuum. ANd with the BM it would hit like 21 but then just go down to 17ish or 18. Basically what it should have been boosting with just a chip.
