Default Ok so all 3 bolts holding my control arm to the body of the car in front of the pass. rear wheel

fell off last night. Lets just say I wasn't happy since I just had the car aligned about 2-3 weeks ago and I think they loosened them and never tightened them back. Oh what joy.

I'm hoping you did discover this at 70mph - Any damage?

Default do you mean the nuts on the ball joint that attach it to the control arm?

or the 2 bolts that attach the control arm to the subframe? The former would be expected for an alignment, but not the latter. Hope nothing was damaged, though that seems pretty unlikely. Take it up with the shop, there's a good chance your strut or even the strut tower of the chassis was damaged.

Default ah, thanks for the clarification...

now I'd be worried about tweaking the trailing arms.

Default wow...I really hope not. I mean it didn't slam down; I just felt the wheel turn and I made it..

right into the Hess as it started to drag.

Default BTW if anyone remembers my whole Kmac bushing being destroyed thing...

The shop says that over torquing it could not have caused that because the bolt would have hit the barrel and it wouldn't cause the bushings to push out like that. Sounds logical. They are saying now that the other side is wearing away too but not as fast as the passenger side did. I emailed KMAC to get info on the warranty. I hope I don't end up having to buy all new bushings again.
