ok, so now my clutch feels notchy, yes, my clutch pedal
feels notchy when I run the gears in normal driving. Symptoms:
*notchy while running the gears easily 2,3 4 gears
*happens sporadically, mostly in slow traffic, 2 to third and back to second rush hour driving
*no notchy feeling at idle what-so-ever
*brake reservoir is full, no leaks
*no clutch smell
*no clutch slipping even at high rpm 1.5 bar boost.
*does not happen in morning, no traffic, cooler temp driving
Here's the killer: I have an OFE South Bend clutch with maybe 10k on it that has never been launched....WTF?

maybe they forgot to lube the splined shaft when the clutch was installed?
but that would not explain the sporadic nature unless it was somehow temp related.
was the slave cylinder replaced when the clutch was installed?

yes, slave cylinder was replaced...this OFE clutch
is good up to 450 ft lbs. of torque which is plenty for my application...don't know what it can be...unless my peddle is just binding linkage wise...

Did you replace the flywheel? if the original dual mass is in there, maybe...
its going bad.
if the noise is just coming from pushing the pedal in and out there really is no linkage, the pedal pushes directly on the clutch master cylinder and from there you have a hydraulic line that goes to the slave cylinder and that pushes directly on the pressure plate.
Maybe the pressure plate is supposed to feel a little notchy? have you talked to others with the same setup?

the original flywheel was resurfaced a micro amount...very little
yes, my bad on the linkage part to the clutch...after I wrote it I realized I was wrong there but thanks for confirming. I need to contact OFE users as well...
And now I'm getting the notch clutch pedal feel in the morning too...It happens when I'm cruising at speed and press the clutch and *notchy feel* but as I go through the gears it goes away until at speed again for a while and then press the pedal and, you guessed it, NOTCH
...thanks for your suggestions!
