OK....who has installed Aftermarket buckets in their TT?

OK....who has installed Aftermarket buckets in their TT?
After my dealership botching up my driver seat cushion,and losing faith in Audi approving a total replacemnt for it I am exploring the possibilty of installing a couple of Recaro SPG bucket seats in my TT.
My only fear is that there are air bags in the factory seats and i would like to know if I am gonna set off any indicators and such, if these are disconnected.I also need to know how difficult it would be to install Audi heated pad in those buckets. I only imagine that it would only be a matter of plugging in he pads to the factory harness.
Any comments appreciated.
