ongoing electrical problems
I picked up my 225 TT coupe in late Feb. I love the car except for the fact that it's had to go into service many times for electrical problems.
Three visits to the shop for two instrument cluster replacements.
Four visits, so far, for
-- inoperable gas and hatch release switches.
-- clicking in opened driver's-side door, that appears to randomly lock/unlock the car.
This second set of problems has yet to be resolved and has resulted, on at least one occasion, in the alarm going off when it shouldn't have.
I've noticed a few other minor electrical problems, as well. I know electrical problems can sometimes be hard to track down, but I'm getting rather frustrated with the unreliability of the car and the inconvenience of this ongoing problem.
I'm going back to the dealer on Monday for yet another attempt to resolve the latest electrical issues and want to arm myself with as much info as possible.
Are these common problems with TT's?
Is there something that my dealer might be overlooking?
At what point should I be asking for a replacement?
Is Audi's "lemon" replacement policy any different than what is required by California law?
Thanks for any help.
(My apologies if this is a redundant post. I tried "search" first, but the search page is locking up for me.)

Wow, sorry to hear. There have been some electrical gremlins reported...
by many folks; though just as many (like myself) have had no electrical troubles to speak of. Someone once commented that there must be two TT assembly lines, the good one and the bad one... it seems people either have a bunch of problems or none at all.
Brad Willis is the CA lemon law expert on the forum... you might email him.

I think CA law takes precedent over Audi's "policy".......>
Keep in mind NO manufacturers want to buy cars back. They're in the business of selling them. State Lemon Laws Make them, provided your situation fits the laws parameters. I think Brad Willis had one go back.........
