OT: I need to replace my gas furnace at home. recommendations?

Contact your gas utility company. There may be rebates...
for installing high-efficiency models. The utility may also have recommended models and installers.
IMO, go for the high-efficiency furnaces that use plastic exhaust stacks. I also like multi-speed fans if your system is forced air.
