If he wins, he will be the only person since Fausto in '52 to win at L'Alpe d'Huez and in Paris.

Miguel Indurain won the Tour de France in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1995. L'Alpe d'Huez was a stage in 1991 (Gianni Bugno won), 1992 (Andy Hampsten won), 1994 (Roberto Conti won), and 1995 (Marco Pantani won). Fausto Coppi is the only man to win at L'Alpe d'Huez and the Tour in the same year (1952, when he won all the Alpine stages).

Armstrong, should he win this year, would duplicate that feat.
