Incidentally, it is truly amazing how many dumb rednecks and/or bass masters perceive wakeboard towers. My first boat with a tower was purchased in 1997 before wakeboarding began gaining considerable popularity. People constantly approached me and sincerely thought that the tower was either a roll bar either something from which to hang a deer. Now since about 70 percent of all inboard/direct drives have towers and about 20 percent of all I/Os I see also have towers, I get less and less inquiries from those brilliant bass masters. Now it is just mainly land locked rednecks in po-dunk towns that try to figure out how to hang a deer from it that approach when I stop with the boat to get gas.
