Default passing smog in CA with mods?

Does anyone have experience trying to pass smog in a modded TT?

Do I just set my GIAC flashloader to stock? WIll it pass with my mods or am I out of luck?

I have an 01 225 roadster
Milltek exhaust + hi flow cats
EVOMS P Flow airbox
GIAC stock, pump, and 100 octane

Thank You!

Default You should probably put back the stock airbox. It has to pass a visual inspection,

and if you don't have a SMOG approved sticker for your airbox you can be failed for it.

Your cats might cause a problem too, but you never know.

Default I passed without removing anything

but then again, I found a pretty easy going smog tech. Plus he was only 2 mins away from Century City.

Default You should only have issues with your intake visual. my car passed with a stgIII &

the heatshield has fitment holes for the factory airbox cover to fit. get it to go over the filter and it should hide most of it. make sure the car has been run hard and those cats are heated up nice!!!

Default I know this car. You gave me a ride in it one day...so which shop?

Jeff Moss from Torque Factory introduced me to you and you took me for a spin around the block! Very nice! How are you doing?

Are you going to Laguna Seca for ALMS next weekend? I didn't know you worked for Audi! That's cool!

I had to change my DV, BAMM, & VTDA back to stock. The shop I found let the Samco hoses go.

Default Yeah but

I didn't go to that one. I went to a smog check place on Olympic Blvd. near Century Park West. I went in the afternoon.. he was around my age (pretty young) and I was honest with him on the phone, told him that he'd do me a favor if he passed visual, knowing I'd have to bolt and unbolt a few things.
I'll be at Jose's tomorrow morning actually..
