Does anyone have Race mode (EMCS) as one of their programs for a 2001 TT Roadster 180 fwd? I have it on mine. Supposedly, the guys at APR told me that they didn't, but when I got my chip I found out that I have STOCK, CHIPPED, and RACE. I think they made a mistake on the programs because I was supposed to get the VALET. I ordered the chip during their Christmas sale with all the free EMCS options. They either ripped me off a program or they are misadvertising. I know some TTR owners who don't have race, but they have valet. THey told me that APR does not offer the RACE for the TT Roadster. Who is right and who is wrong. I am confused. Anyone with this chip and this model year and car please help!!!

valet mode, but instead you got race mode. Hey, people make mistakes, guys at APR are people too I'm sure they'll have it fixed up for ya, hope things work out!

and the race mode was an option for both coupes and roadsters. i'm sure they just made an error with your programming. you may want to keep the race mode if you take the car to track, otherwise give them a call and arrange a trade for what you actually ordered.

good luck -- the apr folks are very reasonable, so i don't think you'll have a problem.

They don't have a valet program for the 180 FWD car. I do have 'Race' mode also.

No, need 100 octane fuel - would have to seek some out- perhaps this summer.
