Default Pictures of lowered TT's with H&R and Bilstein (sp?) shocks

Think I will do this very soon, I just don't see a coilover set doing me any good, I can't imagine how often I will be adjusting them. I figured I would want to lower the car at least 1"

also prefer to see a car that is lowered with 17" rims, rather then 18 or 19"

Default Just MHO, but I think the Eibachs are a more elegant solution....

Here's a pic of H&R:

and here are my Abts (essentially or exactly the same as Eibachs) .. no coil bind. This combo with the Bilstein Sports has been beautiful and flawless....love driving every single day.

Default When I was researching, here's what I came up with...

Lowering Comparison on 225

Abt Springs:

Front: 25 mm (0.98")
Rear: 25 mm (0.98")

Eibach

Front: (27.94 mm) 1.1"
Rear: (27.94 mm) 1.1"

H&R

Front: (33.02 mm) 1.3"
Rear: (30.48 mm) 1.2"

Default I think the HR/Bilstein set up works just fine, no problems with the shock and springs...

I'm still having the issues with my front sway bar, but I think it's unrelated:

Here's a couple of shots:

Default That's so subjective. So many things play a part in that including what

tires you are running and what size. I don't find my 18" with this set up that much stiffer a ride than I did the stock set up in my old TT with 17". Just a tough call. That said, I'm riding around out in Connecticut, not great roads, but better than NYC driving.
