Car at RB dealer now, getting torn down tomorrow or next Monday. Ext. Warranty should cover it - but darnit.

** Edit **

I need to add that while dropping off the car at the dealer after hours, a salesman was still working the sales lot. My wife asked him about a silver A4 Avant. "Are you going to get rid of your TT?" he asked. "Heck no, we are selling that Chrysler. We are keeping my TT forever if my husband can learn to <insert wife look here> keep it maintained."

** end of edit **

Default Sorry to hear, glad you got the warranty.

Hope they take good care of everything and you get it back running like new. Hopefully there's a lesson learned here by others, especially those without an ext. warranty.

Default if mine snapped...i'd be all over a stage III+ motor.

let's face it....its a good excuse. and besides, it would probably cost less than a normal rebuild at the dealer.

Well, I thought about it - but w/ext. warranty it needs to stay stock for a tad bit longer.
