Please tell me that the TT doesn't come with a front license plate bracket?

Re: It sure does.
Also, make sure they don't put on a dealer license plate frame or any other dealership garbage on the car. Most dealers only use adhesive of sorts. Unfortunately, some of them get a little too happy with the drill and put far too many "decorations" on the car before you ever get to pick it up.

Re: Us Albertans may get hosed
The dealer here in Calgary had two TT's come in
last week, and a third this week. I got to see
each one essentially as it came off the truck,
and unfortunately all of them had a front plate
mounting already riveted on. Alberta requires
only the rear plate by law, which adds insult to
injury. :~(
As a side note, I've had the ability to eye-ball
the Canadian low-speed impact bumper add ons.
They are not, in my opinion, up to the standard
of TT fit & finish quality. Quite clearly they
are just stuck onto the existing TT bumper,
leaving a noticeable (and in some instances
unevenly gapped) seam running the length of the
addition. Bummer.
Still, the vehicle is so stunning in all other
respects that these matters are not likely to
make any difference for most of us. This ain't
sour grapes, it's IMHO a testament to the amazing
design of this car. Still can't wait to get mine,
plate brackets and bumper bulges notwithstanding.
