Default potential buyer, options

My local Audi mechanic has a 04' with 95K on it and I can get it for about 7K.
For 15 years old it's in really mint shape.
It has the bose system with 6 CD changer.

TP/WP are done, haldex is done as are all fluid and filters plus new tires.

good deal?

I read somewhere that the clutches only last 100K but that sound silly, I've had many sticks and got 160K+ out of them.

Reading up on the TT it's heavy so the complaints are the brakes should be upgraded and suspension part wear out faster.

Don't know if the fuel pump was changed but generally I replace them at 100K for piece of mind.

Looking for feedback for those where who own one.

Another complaint I read is the hat/privacy shelf can become annoying.

Sadly it looks like VAG no longer sells this item, NLA, damn.

Sure they could be found at yards but they might be in no better condition then what you have.

various bulbs looks like they are somewhat difficult to replace, not much elbow room.

Thanks for any input.

Read this FAQ https://forums.fourtitude.com/showth...44-Audi-TT-FAQ
Lots of TTs with 150k+ and original clutch.
Brakes are fine unless you track.
No premature suspension wear but at 95K and 15 years lots of stuff should be refreshed, including shocks

I hear ya, was looking at the bilstein struts, not cheap but I run them on my 90 all around for many years, can't beat the handling.
