Default Power/Battery Issue continued...

Well I got a new Battery in. I tested it when I dropped it in, registered 12.57V. I cleared all the codes on the car, and took it for a drive. Fired right up, and I popped into the HVAC display (#20). I drove around for about 30 minutes, varying speed, etc. The whole time it registered between 11.3-11.7V. Seemed to go down a little bit the longer I drove. Pretty much held steady around 11.5-11.6V. Once I popped on the headlights it dropped down around 10.7V. When I turned them off it went back up to 11.5V.

Does this sound right? I still have the battery light lit on the speedo, but the bright yellow battery in the display is gone. Car drove great. I turned it off and started it again at the end of the drive and fired right up.

Is this sound correct, what should I do next for testing?

Default Tom, the voltages seem low. Should be over 13v when charging...>>

Mine is between 13.7 and 14.3v. Could be the alternator or relay.

Default That is not right.

Need to check loaded output of the alternator. You should see 13.5 volts. 10.7 volts probably wouldn't be enough to crank the starter.

voltmeter to check the voltage, but you need a shop with an ammeter or load test to fully test it

Default Would Autozone have a way to test specifically the output of the alternator?

It is either that or a relay, and I have no idea how to be testing for that, or where. I have a nice multimeter. I tested at the battery terminals while the car was running, and I was getting around 11.6-7.
