What's up with the limitations of the Palms this will work on?

I have a Tungsten and this is what the Shade Tree site says:

"It does not work on PalmOS 5.x because the serial driver in that OS
version is broken."

WTF? I doubt anything is BROKEN on my palm's serial driver. I suspect it's actually just that Shade Tree won't support it due to financial reasons. Am I right or does it only work with older models?

id email them. i run it on my tungsten t3. i was going to run it on my tungstne t and i believe they said it would work but updated to a T3 b4 i ever ran it on the T

I use it on my Tungsten T3 with no problems.

BTW, is there any downside to getting this instead of putting the actual VAG COM on my laptop?

It explains that Treo's an T5's have a different connector (dubbed "multi-connector") so you need different serial cables than with the other Tungstens.

And take your meds before posting...
