Problem with GIAC Chip?
I have a GIAC Chip on my 2002 225 Coupe and many times at full throttle the rpms jump almost like a gear is slipping (the car revs but doesn't increase in speed). The dealer said that they could not find any problems with the gears and when I replace the chip with the stock chip the problem seems to disappear. Any thoughts?

I had asked the dealer a few times to check the clutch and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it, but they never took anything apart to look at it. Any idea on how much it is to replace the clutch?

Probably in excess of $1000.
If you drive a car normally a slipping clutch will not be evident. The much higher torque loads in upper gears that a chipped car develops
brings out the limitations. How many miles on the car? With a stock chip and relatively "normal" driving it could still last quite awhile..
