qckWiTT, didn't you say you were going to be at the Achtuning event? I don't think I saw you there, or any other TT for that matter, other than "blue boy."

Initially went up to Washington for the Achtuning BBQ and Hot Import Nights since the girl wanted to come along, but had to work on Sunday. Saw ePuffy at Achtuning, but didn't get to see his TT. Was kind of hoping to see some more TTers, oh well. After talking my girl into calling her boss, we planned on going to Waterwagen, but we overslept and hung out with the family longer than planned and completely missed out on Waterwagen! By the way epuffy, you said you were dragg'n at waterwagen, how'd you do?

Anyhow, here are pix from the Achtuning event. This is a front shot of the new GLI and GTI.

Upon entering Hot Import Nights, this is the first car I notice. I guess this is LobsTTer's car and you guys have probably seen it enough, but for those that haven't...

It's a thing of beauty. Not to be a dick, but why the stock air intake box? Haven't found one you liked yet?

Here's a nice set of lambros

My friend Tri, or DJ Monkey just happened to be there, not that you guys would care.

And what would Hot Import Nights be without this final closing shot...

Default yeah the new Hartmann forged wheels

I saw that set on the Achtuning car. Looked like it had come straight off the CNC machine, the milling marks were still visible with no finish of any kind. There's also a forged version of the RS4 DTM wheel in addition to these new RS4 split spokes. I spoke with Matt (I think it was Matt) at Evolution Sports who also carry the Hartmann Wheels and he said they'd be ready by September or so? They're releasing 5x112 versions first. They need enough interest in a 5x100 version to do a batch so he says.

Bill (?) at Hartmann made it seem like the 5x100 wheels would definitely be out in a couple months..
