Default Question - turbo compressor outlet hose.

Thought I split the hose at Mont Tremblant, turns out only the clamp appears to have slipped off. For those that have changed theirs, what's the easiest way to get to the clamp for tightening?

Default I've unbolted the pressure pipe and move aside, then I have access coming in from the passenger

side. However, I usually need a second person to help visually guide me, as I can see from that side.

The other method was taking a long extention and going from underneathe. This was is more difficult that the other method, imo.

Default yeah.. its a real pain in the ****..

I removed the airbox, and strut bar to get in there.. Then basically layed on the front of the bumper and using both my hands felt my way down there.. Obviously you can't see anything, so its all done by touch.. As for it facing backward.. When I replaced the hose I thought about reversing the clamp, but for some reason at the time it just seemed harder to tighten that way.. best of luck..

Default that seems to be the easy part, compared to a whole turbo removal! At least, once it's off you can

orient the clamp any way you want.

To remove the turbo, don't you have to drop the subframe?

Default yep! you basically gut the car just to get to the damned turbo!

Installation seems to be a bit easier. Imagine doing all this in a garage using jack stands!
