questions about coilovers..
#3
After driving the TT on the track...
I hear that the Bilsteins work great and think there may not be a need for coilovers. The car handles beautifully bone stock! So, I'm thinking Bilsteins, and MAYBE Eibachs. The car is very neautral and balanced and predicatable in its stock configuration.

According to Neuspeed - Bilstein PSS and PSS9's will be here for the TT in about
2-3 more weeks. I also found out that Gruber (who makes all of Neuspeeds springs) did the springs for the Bilstein Coilovers.
Also it was confirmed the Bilstein does spec the Neuspeed Bilstein sports differently - different compression and rebound dampening and a different internal bump stop for the front struts. They are still packaged as Bilstein's however. I also did confirm that this IS NOT the case for every Neuspeed Bilstein - and did not confirm whether this is the case for the Neuspeed Bilstein's for the TT. It is however the case for all MKIII and MKIV VW's - the Bilsteins from Neuspeed are in fact different from those purchased elsewhere and there are no markings to indicate as such.
