A quick glance at my 3" single cat system and downpipe...sorry for the crappy pics
I helped with the installation and forgot to take more pics. I've got a few more that I still need to upload.
You can see where the downpipe and the cat meet. The guy used the upper part of the downpipe and welded on 2 1/2" single pipe. The cat is 3" all the way, meets up with my Milltek 2 3/4" piping. I'm using a Borla clamp to keep them together. The exhaust note has gotten louder...however, I'm still thinking about making a 3" non-resonated center pipe. He's going to be engineering one from scratch that won't bend around so much. He'll be using my car for the prototype. This is all stainless steel.
He mentioned that with my system now, I've got such great airflow (intake and exhaust) that I'm running a little lean. With all this air coming through, the fuel injectors can't seem to keep up. He suggested I find larger injectors. I haven't thrown any DTCs...yet.

awesome.. what did he charge? an S4 owner was charged 450 for his custom exhaust
Obviously yours involved some more work and time because of the downpipe...

the downpipe and cats were only $500, he's done some work for me before and we still have some other
projects to work on. He did the exhaust system for Champion's S4...the one that won!
