i was looking into getting your stage 3 kit with the TTDA,****, and boost machine. I live in Minnesota and i drive my Tt all year: is the TTDA like a cold air intake in that you can Hydrolock the engine?? also if it is possible to hydrolock, is ther anyway to use just the ****, and BM with the stock airbox?

I've driven through Hurricanes with lower feeds in place and no problem. If you're not going to go to the trouble of running feeds (or have a 225 and Can't) you should look at a VTDA as an alternative..99% now are going in that direction
