Default Read some post yesterday stating that lifting emergency brake will disengage quattro (haldex).

Is this true or not? If it is, anyone tried fulling the ECU into thinking that parking brake is engaged?

Default Why would you want to??

If it's for dyno purposes, realize that you can just disconnect the Haldex controller for the same result.

Also realize that your numbers will be pretty meaningless since you won't know anything about drivetrain loss.

Default It's true-

If the e-brake is engaged WHILE the car is in gear AND the clutch is engaged (pedal up) the Haldex will release. This is to allow for handbrake turns. If the brake is engaged before the clutch is engaged (while pedal down) the Haldex will not release.
