Default Rear hatch won't stay open especially with cold ambient temps--->

Are the hatch shocks adjustable, repairable, DIY type? I did AW search but nothing came up.
TT is still under warranty but if I can do it myself and save dealer aggravation, you know the rest...Any info in appreciated and Merry Christmas!

Default Not adjustable to best of my knowledge...

Had the problem with front trunk of my 911. Solved it by replacing them.

If you are on warranty, have dealer repair for free. They probably will have to order the parts. Probably not commonly in stock.

Default Replace the hatch shocks under warranty. DIY if they'll let you, but it's quick and easy...

They could do it while you wait -- should take them no time at all.

Default i agree with comments below, but struts on mine always feel weaker in very cold temps...

that's the nature of the beast.

Default With the hatch in the fully open position, it will come down in 50°F-63°F temps

and stay up in 65+?F, in the fully opened position, but a slight tap and it will come down.
