Default red is the new blue

FINALLY I picked up the new TT and sent the old leased 2000 back to the dealer. It took three attempts because the lease-end inspection company was hard to organize and it took 3 tries to get them to visit Mr Blue and pronounce him to have no defects.

The dealer took the winter wheels off the old TT, put the stored wheels back on for return, put the winter wheels on the new one and sent us home with the summer wheels in the back, two in the TT, two in the Camry.

Since then Miss Red has stayed in the garage, I haven't started driving her yet. From next week I guess she's commuting with me into Manhattan like Mr Blue did.

I have NEVER bought the same car twice, until this week. The TT is the best car I have ever owned. I hope Mr Blue goes to a deserving owner, he was great.

Default You'll really start to love the red...

Congratulations! It looks like your car has plates already - an '02? Amulet is awesome...

I used to only like silver, period. I bought off the lot and said "what the hell, it's fun and I like the shade of red." Now, I'm crazy about the color and I'm glad I got it. I saw a red coupe a few weeks ago and I couldn't believe how cool I thought that looked, too (looks even better than the Roadster). So good choice, enjoy it!

Default Where are you from? I'm a huge Danbury Audi fan.

Live in Redding and can be seen flying around in a red TTR. You should come to some of the GTGs... we're a fun bunch! (Just watch out for Denny, she tends to bite)

.... well how did you know it was Danbury?? It was, they were great. I'm actually in upstate NY but Danbury had better deals and they had the 2002 red so we picked her up from there. It must be the country's smallest showroom!

Default Agreed

Silver looks good, but everybody has silver--Bo-Ring!

Black looks good, as long as you have the time and inclination to keep it spotless. Dirty black looks horrid.

My first choice was nimbus grey, but they didn't have any in stock and I couldn't wait for them to order one. So red it became! Speaking of dirt, red is nice because dirty red just looks sort of dull.

Entertainingly, I've owned three cars in my life (the TT, a Jeep Wrangler, and a Hyundai GLS). All of them were red with grey interiors. Not planned--it just happened.

(I'm the one on the right)
