Remote key antics...
After a previous post on extending the range of the remote by pressing it against one's head when using it (!!!), here is what I found out tonight:
1. It is true (at least, when used from a position directly behind the car)
2. I get more range if I turn the short side with the keyring towards the car (opposite to what I have naturally been doing till now)
3. I get the most range when pressing the remote against my cheek AND turning that side of it towards the car (maybe also aiming it high)! I get maybe 100 ft.
4. Although I am a physicist, I have no explaination for it yet.
So, experiment and post your findings...
