I'm sure that's it. Mine seem to be centered when cold which is Ok.

Default I just received my BlueFlame yesterday and I have a question......

I thought that everything I needed for the transplant came with the BlueFlame kit, which I haven't opened yet. I went to your Fotki and saw, for the first time, that a bracket is required to put in the BlueFlame. You note that the center bracket & hanger must be obtained from Audi. If this bracket is only required to hang the BlueFlame and is not required by the stock system, I don't understand how Audi would carry such a part. I'm at a loss. Please help before I start my installation.

Default If I may answer as well... I haven't added the center bracket in over a year.

I think its just additional support, so I just bought one to install. I never had a rattle with my Forge ;-)

Default Go ahead and install the exhaust. It is quite secure with three hangers. If you decide to

add bracket later, you can do so without unbolting anything. Just undo two muffler hangers, drop it a few inches and slip in the new bracket. That's how I did it.

Default Thank you guys. I was a little worried but you put my mind at ease....

I will put it in without the center brace and see how she does. The drift I get from your helpful answers is that this center brace is available for the stock system, if you want more support, and that is why MarTT noted that it is available through Audi. This now makes sense. IF I am wrong in this asserment please correct my thinking.

You got it! I just paid about $49 for the bracket and rubber grommet thru World Impex.
