Yo!

About two weeks ago I posted re: my transmission giving out after ~2400 miles (https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m/tt/msgs/161108.phtml). As promised, the dealer replaced the entire transmission and had the car ready for me within 5 days... not bad, except that never did get me a suitable loaner car.

After driving it for a few days--I was away for most of the holida--everything seems to be in ship shape. Part of feels like the new transmission is a bit smoother that the older one but the differences are slight. I once had some trouble shifting into fifth but it hasn't happened since...

So, while I was considerably unpleased to see my transmission go, and doubly unpleased to learn that this is fairly rare occurence in a 225C, I am once again a happy TT-ing camper.
