RJ45 plug for phone- 8 pin or 10 pin?
I've been trying to use the existing wiring to get 12V power to the RJ45 plug. The archives show how to do this is great detail for the A4(thanks DieTTmar). However, the A4 uses a standard LAN connector (RJ45 8pin). When I checked, my TTQ has 10 pins in the phone plug. My question is, has anyone actually done this on a TT, and where can you get a 10 pin connector?

Re: RJ45 plug for phone- 8 pin or 10 pin?
I am using a standard LAN connector with 8 pins and the connection from the DB25 to the RJ45 works.
Have got today the information that you MUST mute the radio to activate the mic and speakers (with concert/bose both door speakers are used).
I have this weekend the plan to find out how to mute the radio. asap i give feedback.

Re: RJ45 plug for phone- 8 pin or 10 pin?
I have fully integrated the Nokia 6160 car kit with factory wiring and factory phone bracket on the TT. It integrates with BOSE stereo speakers, hush on stereo, microphone, 12v switched and 12v unswitched. The RJ45 near cup holder is pin for pin the same as the A4 and uses 8 wires. You need to build the "RS-232 25 pin male black box" to connect to the RS-232 female located behind the left access door in truck. This "patches" the necessary wires and makes the RJ45 hot. I basically followed the instructions in the FAQs located in the A4 forum.
