Guess who won the 0-60, 1/4 mile, slalom speed, MPG and braking distance?!?!? .....
It was the car with the LEAST hp and torque rating....yet was the second heavist! ;-)

price as tested 88K vs 124k....110K base on the R8....>>>
based on Audi's pricing, it should be compared to a GT3 price wise...in which case the two would be even further apart....According to the article, basically they believe it would take the v10 R8 to run with the GT3...
Not bashing....just reinforcing what i have believed in for a long time...Newer Porsche's are some of the most inexpensive factory supercars on the planet....
