roadster interior and exterior
anyone seen the amber red interior for the nimbus gray exterior? is it closer to red or brown. i've seen some pictures of the baseball glove interior and it looked deceivingly brown. is this right? and also.. just a survey.. brilliant black, nimbus gray, or amulet red for the exterior colors look the best?

I made this my wallpaper this morning. I've got a silver roadster on order with the baseball optic leather interior. I had the same concerns until I saw it in person. It's terrific!
On Order: 2001 TTRQ, Lake Silver Metalic, Baseball Optic Red Interior, Premium Package, Bose, Est. Arrival October/November 2000

I've got black w/ Amber Red. It's what I would call "Terracotta".

Here's a link of mine, but it doesn't show the interior much. Someone a while back posted some really good pics of it. Try and find those.
I really like the black/amber combination. Silver and raven black are cool as well. I haven't seen a green. I don't think the amulet would look very good. Maybe if the int were tan. There are TONS of pictures of the nimbus. It is by far the most popular/common with the amber red interior. I've only seen one nimbus without it. It had a black interior and looked good.

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/BlackTTR2.jpg</a

I have Nimbus with baseball...
and love the combination. The Nimbus grey is an unusual color, so rich in color and unlike other colors on cars anywhere. The baseball interior is kinda of orange-red as others have suggested. I love it, some don't but it is nonetheless, quite distinctive. The baseball stitching look is extraordinary as well and the leather accents of the steering wheel and door panels are both great.
agg

The stitching...
will fade like a baseball glove although the seats show no color change. I have about 3000 miles and it is barely noticeable and, I suspect as the designers planned and have commented, will lend some individuality to the seats. I agree that the stitching could probably be replaced.
agg
