Default The Gallardo has a sequential manual from Magnetti Marelli...

single clutch system, same as used in Ferraris altho I believe with different software settings.

Default "[DSG] is being launched across the entire VW Group vehicle family -- including VW, Audi, Skoda..."

And...

"BorgWarner expects the demand for this technology to grow to 20 percent of the European passenger car market by 2015, and expects the technology to become a viable alternative for China and other recently developing automotive markets around the world."<ul><li><a href="http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/Industry_Tuner_News/article_819.shtml">http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/Industry_Tuner_News/article_819.shtml</a</li></ul>

Default Murc. and Gallardo both have e.gear, a Magnetti-Marelli crappy system like Ferrari F1.

Hence I got the six-speed.

The (crappy) paddle shifting system is a $10,000 option.

I'd have happily paid $10,000 to get DSG.

But it wasn't available.
