Default S Line Suspension

The local dealer told me that the strut mounts on my '01 TTQC were worn and thus my struts needed to be replaced.

I mentioned that I was interested in the S Line suspension and he made all sorts of noises about warranty and aftermarket parts...blah blah blah.

I was under the impression that the S Line stuff is an option available through Audi in Europe, am I wrong?

Default You are not wrong. I think he was referring to his warranty to you for the work done.

He will not get repaid by AoA for addtional work if he has to redo it.

No. Dealer is here in the states. The S Line stuff is available through Stratmosphere, I think.

Default other dealers here...

in the states have said the same thing.
even though they are audi parts, if you have any problems they will not do warranty work on it.

some dealers are better about these things.

not sure what AoA's stance is on the matter

My dealer tech welcomed the upgrade...I brought it to him new in the box...He said GREAT..don't worry about warranty...these are Audi part numbers...He also was very pleased to see that I brought Forge adj. ties...and had a Neuspeed 19mm rr sway already on....I love this suspension set-up

Default Yes, Strat >>>

I suggest calling them and maybe haggle for a sale price...If you add the adj ties to the order...you might get a better deal...I did!
They were great to deal with and shipping was lightning fast!
