Default Think of it as an opportunity to buy new stuff for your TT. You're doing a good thing . . .

Here's how (from the FAQ).

Default if it's the top piece, it's trivial to replace.

FWIW, there do appear to be some model-year differences on the trim -- i had a heck of a time getting screws that were copacetic with the new trim.

Default there's a coating that is painted on top of the plastic. just get a replacement...not

worth trying to match it.

Default Nothing to do with model year...

More to do with excessive modding by obsessive owner.

Hey there Maurice! You've been busy lately.

Default you're right....I should treat it like a performance mod

but I am kinda disapointed that something that doesn't see too much sun exposure, hardly touched by my greasy fingers, could wear out so easily albeit at the edge. Thanks for the link.

Default it looks like it's easy enough ---------->

to replace....I just don't want this to be a sign of things to come regarding the trim of this car, after five years of ownership....I may need to update my pair of dimes. I'm treating it more like a scuff on a shoe, mentally. You could kick yourself for putting the scuff there in the first place.
