Ok, so is a chipped 180Quattro TT coupe with exhaust faster or slower than a stock 225TTcoupe? The 225 may seem faster because of shorter gears, has anymore 1/4miled a modded 180? I read 14.6-14.9 for a chipped and exhaust 180quattro. What does the 225 do stock? Also, can I just throw on a K04 without changing to the 225 intake/exhaust manifold? Anyone with 180 swap to ko4, and only k04 + chip + exhaust? Oh and what chip would you guys recommand...I'm considering between GIAC, APR, or ABT. The APR is has the highest HP rating of 209 out of the 3 but someone posted that ABT won some chip shoot out in a euro magazine. Anyone with 180 ABT chip? Have you raced 180 with APR chip? Did you win or lose =) I've searched the archive a lot...so dont say i havnt!

As for the K04 swap...its been done. do a search on Jenner or RobTT.

I have a 180 with a APR chip, well pleased and notta problem in over 68000 miles.
