Seat removal question for the Forum Guru's

If I am taking the seats out of my coupe, do I need to disconnect the battery first?

Would be a wise move....

Expect the airbag light to be illuminated though once you unplug the seats and replace em...need a vag to get rid of that light I think.

I just swapped seats yesterday, I did not unhoook the battery...

and I did not throw and Airbag light since I did not turn it on. IMHO, it is overkill to disconnect the battery.
