Moving to the west side of Hartford next month and I'm going to need a good service center in the area. Anybody know of any good shops? Anybody know of any places to avoid?

wonderful people all 'round. I'd highly recommend them. Worth the drive (probably 1/2 to 3/4 hour for you?)

It's about an hour's drive, and I've owned my TT for about as long as you have. Have heard mixed reviews about Hoffman (in East Hartford). Heard pretty good things about Fathers & Sons in West Springfield.

When you get here, we should try to have a Hartford-area GTG.

I'm up for a CT-TT meeting sometime in mid-Sept once I get settled.

Hoffman Audi of East Hartford is great! They did outstanding work on my TT when I took it in for a rattle. They are very accommodating and gregarious as well.

When I brought my 1996 Audi A6 in to have 2 oil leaks and a rear differential leak repaired (over $900 worth of work)after waiting 2 bloody weeks for an apointment, they rented me a Ford Escort from enterprise (Who knew Ford still made em? I could not even get a Ford Focus, Escort no less!!!) When I bring my mom's Lexus, they give me a Toyota Corolla. I am 27 years old and I look 22. When my mom brings in her ride, she gets a Lexus loaner. I paid top dollar for my A6 just like the older people yet I get a crap car because I think when they see me they are afraid I will beat on the loaner. Savages!
