Default Shift Boot

My rubber shift boot just split - stealer quoted me $100 so I hit the 'net and found some what appears to be nice leather ones from Redlinegoods.com - appear to be made in Poland. Anyone have any experience with these and this outfit?

Thanx!!!!

seems like the rubber boot is on the order of $45- 50; you can install it yourself

Default Please try and conserve one of the design details that really makes the car special...

the leit motive of rings and circles is really epitomized by the OEM shift boot (IMHO)

and you can repair it - if you want to go cut-rate - with a bike tube patch kit

Default I'm with you on this one, ZGTT. FWIW... >>

how did yours split, Overdriven? Mine developed a crack at one point, where the rubber folds when the shift lever is in 2nd and 4th gears. I was able to rotate the boot 180deg and my split is not visible.

But I agree with ZGTT; the Bauhaus, industrial design, rings and circles really define the car. Keep the feel if you can.
