Default should the ttq have come with a trunck cargo net? (and other stuff)

my ttq's owner's manual points out the hooks in the trunk for a cargo net. is this an after-market product? and if so, where can i find one?

i also have money down for the 225. dual exhaust pipes keep the symetry going. but since some negative posts have been showing up, i am now considering chipping the 180. does this void my warranty? are there any products that are dealer-supported (or supported by audi's warranty)?

Default Re:trunck cargo net? NOT INCLUDED (and other stuff)

Re: 225 vs 180. Only negative I've heard was slight turbo lag when you 'call on it' unexpectedly. Other than that, Engine modifications to handle additional power seem to make the 225 a better platform for after market modifications. Oh, and it's about 100- 200 lbs heavier I think. I say keep your deposit on the 225 until it gets here or you can drive one for yourself, then make the decision.

By the way, none of this is based on my original knowledge, I'm just paraphrasing others whose opinion I agree with. Save them the trouble of repeating theirself so often. I owe just about everything I know about the TT to this list. The people here are great resources! Thanks Y'all!

Default I'll try to find out

I got it free off my dealer in the UK when I picked up my TT, but then I nagged him!
I don't know what the part number would be. I'll have a look on it tonight and see if there is a part number on it.

The cost is $150 and this is in the dealer can order and within 48 hours. This is an Audi part and not after market.

Barry at Clair quoted me the price ($122.75) and size (1030mm by 960mm) for the A6 net. This doesn't appear to fit the TT fixture spacing very well....

Default The price isn't perfect either.

Not to be cheap, but doesn't $122.50 or $150 seem just a bit much for a cargo net?
