Default side markers install

Hello, I need help with installing a pair of smoked side markers. Do I just pry on one side? Is there a trick to taking them out? Thanks

Default slide a thin piece of plastic under one side to push the tab in the picture below

The plastic used for packaging is good, thin and stiff.

Default Do the caulk mod before installing the new ones. They will last longer...
