Default Many state emissions operations are interfaced through their main offices...>

Everything goes to the mainframe database these days..pass OR fail.
As a for instance, the new system in NC sends us notification of a pending $250 fine 2 months after your sticker expires if you don't get it done ASAP. No hiding now. No sticker, no registration renewal. It used to be easy to forget for months...Not now!

Default i already got my registration. inspection was always handled by a different division or location.

pretty odd, but that's how they do it here. got my registration 3 weeks ago at the DMV offices.

Default Probably just a matter of time til they tie it all together.......>>

Additional revenue opportunities for the State!

They plan to tie ours together even closer and NC isn't known as the most forward thinking state..

Default negative... not in Jersey... i knew people driving around with 'failed' inspections for months>

you're only f^ed if you get pulled over for something else

or you have to go through one of those 'inspection stops' the cops set up

its a nice little 'red' failed sticker too isnt it!? ;-)

i remember mine...

Default yup. failed red tag. but i'm no stranger to it. had it before.

for tires. i had one tire that was a little worn...they tagged me for that once.

and you're right...not tied together and won't be likely soon. it'll take another 5 years until they realize that that's what they should do.

yeah that should be fine beacuse your readiness will be good and they can visibly see the cat now.
