Solving the stolen parts problem (x-post)
Hey Everyone,
I had some thoughts on what to do about parts getting stolen off of our cars so easily. I'm hoping somebody will take the initiative to go try to convince AoA they should start doing this.
The tragic thing is that most of the parts being stolen from us on the B6 S4 forum are probably getting sold to A4 owners through eBay. The real problem is that it's too easy to unload stolen parts w/out rammifications.
You guys are a little different in that TT parts are only useful to other TT owners. I'm not a TT guys, so I don't know how many components there are out there that one TT guy has, but another TT guy wants. And I don't know how common it is for TT's to get stripped on the streets. But I thought I'd share just in cae.
