Hello everyone. This is my first post and am in need of some help. I removed the engine in my 2001 TT Quattro to rebuild, took tons of pictures along the way, and now am in the process of putting the engine back together. I have the mechanicals of the engine complete and am putting on the hoses, bracketry, and lines... my problem is that the pictures I took were on my phone and I never backed them up so my references are now gone. I was hoping that some of you either have some detailed pictures of the engine bay or would be willing to take some and share with me. Here is one deliemma I am having right now, the lift ring and bracket that attaches to the lift ring seems to be interferring with the electrical plug of the cam chain tensioner.
I guess no one has pictures? Or willing to take a few? I even went to the local Pick n Pull to try and find some but only found 2.0l Beetles and Golfs and a couple of A4 with V6s in them. I guess I will be a creeper and follow the next TT I see driving down the road to his house and ask him... Hopefully no shots will be fired
So I went and read through ballykid's thread and while it had a ton of pictures, they just weren't what I was looking for. On the plus side, I did find a guy today with a 1.8t Golf and I am going to take lots of pictures of his engine bay for reference. That and I am still looking for a guy or gal in a TT so I can be a creeper and follow them home
