Default Sorta OT - preliminary considerations for organizing a TT-SE in/near ATL 2007?

Venues a'plenty!
- Road Atlanta, where Audi has a stake
- Chateau Elan
- BBS
- Georgia Aquarium
- Underground, for the uninitiated
- spirited driving into N-GA (The Vineyard Run)

We can do this, and I can make it happen I opine in the late spring or early fall. best colors and temperatures/density altitude for the T/C and IC systems.

Whaddya think? It is NOT too early to start planning. I'd need sponsors, local and national, and Atlanta has them, as do the hills. We could imitate Sherman, and burn the whole place down again!

Default I quite agree Hans!

I've organized operations for a 5000 man Brigade in the US Army. The devil is in the details, and in delegating enough w/o losing contact. But TTs are so much different from M1A1 tanks and M3 Bradleys!

- Mix of automotive and non-automotive events
- marketing to sponsors
- getting the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau to help with arrangements
- hotel location: Chateau Elan? or downtown/suburbs? I think the Chateau would be spectacular!

Send me a note after TT-E (I'm sure you're VERY busy). I'll call and I'm sure I'll learn every time you open your mouth. You've done this!

Thanks!

Default I would recommend Stone Mountain as a possible base location...

very near to atlanta but no congestion and a landmark...
