Spacer caution and wheel bolt question - I just removed my 25mm H&R spacers and found that 3 of
the 5 bolt holes were buggered (that is the technical term, right?) out a bit. The bolts look OK but the relatively soft aluminum is apparently rather susceptible to cross-threading so be very careful. I have not used an impact wrench either.
Now the question - what is the exact size and thread pitch for the OEM bolt? I am going to try chasing the hole and bolt w/ a tap and die to see if I can avoid having to buy a complete new pair. Or, does anyone have a single one they don't need?
