Default Spec 2+ or Clutchmaster FX 300 or FX400 clutch?

serously, I am getting ready for bad news once I get the tranny out to see what the trouble is with my OFE StgIII clutch....it may be the slave, it may be the DMFW tired out, it may be the pressure plate...it's to soon for the disc to be worn....and it holds really good...even in 5th gear at 20mph....so since we got to open her up again...i may find one or more component bad.

changing out the DMFW is a given now!

Default What he said ^ ^ ^

stay with the OEM dual-mass flywheel, and you'll have a very capable set up.

Default I have a Clutchmasters Stage II on my MR2 Turbo..I absolutely love it..!

..not a TT..but..yea.

In the MR2 crowd, Spec is kind of 50/50..some people have nothing but bad things to say about it..others say it works fine.

Default "Pushing it" really is not the issue>>>

truthfully more clutch wear occurs more often with poor habits...riding the clutch, lazy shifting, clutch dumps...etc...

I would say i use it vigorously..i do not do clutch dumps...i double clutch and use compression on the motor to slow the car combined with braking..In the TTE autox last year, some would say i "used it pretty good"....

Always truly a tough question to answer till you ride with someone....LiTTspeed, KrusTTy, BTTI they have all ridden with me...

That is the best i got..
